Ledbury Hunt Team victorious at
Three Counties Show

The Ledbury Hunt team of Jo Challens, Pete Finch and Stan Sheppard won the inter hunt challenge at the Three Counties Show on 19 June 2010, beating eight other teams.
Junior member Stan Sheppard was first to go and he shot out of the starting gate speed being of the essence! Jo Challens as the senior member of the team, bringing knowledge and experience, followed him. Farmer, Pete Finch was the cool as a cucumber anchorman.
The team, having gone round once then had to go again in a jump-off against the North Ledbury Hunt team. Stan in his usual style was off like a bullet, Jo’s experience meant she got all the tight turns in and Pete nailed it at the end giving the team a 10 second lead! |
