Builth Wells Hound Show 2008

On Thursday 26th June John took some of our best hounds to The Wales and Border Counties Hound Show at Builth Wells. This was the first time for several years that we had showed hounds and up against some very strong competition we were delighted with the results.

Class 8     Best single unentered bitch

1st  MUSIC by North Hereford Meddler out of Hearsay

Class 10   Best single entered bitch

2nd  GOSSIP by Heythrop Goshawk out of Governess

Class 13   Best Brood Bitch

3rd  GOVERNESS by Heythrop Governor out of Dowager

MUSIC also won the Silver Salver given to the best bitch from a pack kennelled in Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire or Herefordshire.

The following points are interesting:

MUSIC was placed 2nd at our Puppy Show this year and is a full sister to our 2008 Puppy Show champion - Muffler. Their dam, Hearsay, won this year's Ledbury hound sponsors trophy as the hound that hunted best in the 2007/8 season.

GOSSIP was judged champion at our 2007 Puppy Show

GOVERNESS was judged champion at our 2005 Puppy Show
