LEDBURY HUNT PUPPY SHOW
June 2010
June 22nd was a wonderful sunny day with a slight breeze to keep conditions ideal for seeing our new entry at their best.
Our new huntsman Will Goffe has hardly had time to settle in but showed hounds magnificently for our visiting judges Phillip Blackman-Howard MFH (North Hereford) and William Deakin (Warwickshire Huntsman)

Bitches
1st Bracken walked by Mrs N Ross
2nd Gondola walked by Mrs N Stephens
3rd Policy walked by Miss M Jones
Judging the best doghound against the best bitch resulted in the Nimrod Champion Memorial Trophy going to Mrs N Ross for walking Bracken leaving Doctor as Reserve Champion with Mr D Haden therefore receiving the Holt-Needham Bowl.
Mrs G Young won the Mrs Ian Bullough Cup for walking Babylon, the best working doghound entered in 2009 and Mrs R Leeke was presented with the magnificent Captain H A Clive Silver Tray for walking Balance, the best working bitch.
The Hound Sponsors silver tankard went to the Lockwood family for sponsoring Saxon '06 chosen as best working hound from the whole pack in the season 2009/10 and the Philip Warner Memorial Tankard for the longest kept puppy went to Sally Pritchard who walked Polish.
After tea Will Goffe brought out all the older hounds for everyone to admire and how well they all looked.
Everyone agreed that it had been a most enjoyable day, an opportunity to meet our new hunt staff and to again see the Kennels as always looking in magnificent condition ready for the start of Autumn hunting in only a few weeks time.
